Meet sweet Harper.
Isn’t she GORGEOUS? I could have photographed her for DAYS. Days, yall. She was such a great sleeper and her nursery was AMAZING. I had so much fun working with her super sweet parents in their Charlotte area home. One of the reasons I still travel to my clients after all these years is that I love shooting in their homes…it gives the session such a personal feel. While it may be easier to have clients travel to me, I’m told it’s definitely easier on them to have me in their home! Plus I’m such a sucker for a bright and airy nursery in particular, and Harper had exactly that.
After losing myself in some awesome lifestyle photographs, we got down to business with posing. While newborn generally steal the show, her sweet fur sibling hopped in on a few precious images, which was definitely right up my alley! I’m a huge advocate of incorporating things that are special to each individual family, be it a furry sibling, a favorite book series, or a family heirloom. As a result, we get lots of unique one of a kind images!
Here are my favorites from Harper’s newborn session. Enjoy!
