I had such a fun time documenting Beau’s 1 year milestone for his family.  We started out with some family portraits on their land, and everyone was such a trooper to brave the cold temperatures we’ve been having in the south lately. (Booooo cold weather!)

Beau’s sweet mama had a lumberjack theme planned for his upcoming birthday party, and that look was carried into their family portraits which I LOVED.  We finished off the morning with a super yummy cake smash, because what little boy doesn’t love CAKE?  Yum!  Thank you Hargett Family for the opportunity to work with you again!  Enjoy!

Nolan’s parents were referred to me by one of my absolute favorite clients, a fantastic family who I’ve photographed at literally every stage in their growing family (Hi Leigh family!).  I was so excited to work with them because I knew they’d be just as fantastic.

We captured so many setups at Nolan’s newborn session, including (of course) some fun sports.  Can you guess which are Dad’s faves? 😉

In honor of Nolan’s upcoming birthday, I thought it might be a good idea to share is session.  Yes, that’s right…this little tiny peanut is about to be ONE.  We already have a session planned with a yummy cake smash.  But for now, let’s take a look at how teeny tiny he once was.

Parker’s mom is from the Charlotte NC area, but her family traveled from Raleigh to see me for his newborn photography session.  I’m so glad that they did!  They were referred by a super sweet client whose beautiful twin girls I also photographed as newborns.  (Thanks Leslie!)

We photographed Parker’s newborn session at his grandparents’ home in Lancaster, SC.  We had a wonderful session with lots of great setups, and he slept through everything!  Any newborn photographer can tell you, a newborn session lasts quite a while, especially when photographing on location.  But this guy…he was a rockstar for us and we flew right through all of our poses.  We even captured him in a miniature version of scrubs and a stethoscope (dad is a Dr and mom is a nurse!).  I had such a wonderful time getting to know his parents and grandmother, and am so happy that I got the opportunity to work with them for his newborn photography.

Check out Parker’s blanket, monogrammed with his name.  I love using personal items in newborn photography!lancaster_sc_newborn_photographer_3
